Background Information

Apr 2024 United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), US Breed Associations, and Canadian Dairy Network (CDN) genetic evaluations for production and type are the most recent domestic evaluations for these countries. These domestic evaluations are released in April, August, and December.

INTERBULL, the International Bull Evaluation Service collects data from 22 countries to produce genetic evaluations of bulls of 6 breeds: Ayrshire, Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Jersey, Holstein and Simmental. INTERBULL genetic evaluations are released on the same schedule. INTERBULL also coordinates international type evaluations for three breeds: Holstein, Jersey and Brown Swiss. INTERBULL then provides each country with the international breeding values (MACE) for all sires on each country’s domestic genetic ranking system. The official organizations from the countries of Canada and the USA provide these Interbull evaluations to Dairybulls.com.

Dairybulls.com will provide dairy producers timely Internet access to the information needed to support genetic management of their herds. Dairybulls.com allows producers to search a database of bulls from all domestic and international sources, using selection criteria determined by the visitor.

Dairybulls.com produces compact printed reports, but for best results your printer must be set in landscape mode.
